Abstract
Land acquisition is not an economic problem, but a problem about protecting the private property rights and defining the boundary of the power that the government can exert on public management. Therefore, to perfect the law on land acquisition in China, it is necessary to define the public interests and the standards for evaluation in order to protect the private property rights, and prevent the government from the abuse of the public rights.
