Abstract

While in office DENG Xiaoping stood out splendidly as a leader who showed great foresight and courage for innovation and exploration, and who carried out bold experiment and reform, therefore started successfully the second revolution for building socialism with Chinese characteristics in China. In course of this he displayed fine qualities of innovative thinking a general designer is supposed to possess, such as great devotion to his cause , a strong sense of duty, supreme confidence, sharp insight, unusual revolutionary courage and resourcefulness, and a staunch will to fight.
