Determination and clinical significance of serum interleukin-6 level in the patients on gastric carcinoma

Abstract

OBJECTIVE?To detect serum interleukin 6(IL 6) of gastric carcinoma and investigate its significance. ?METHODS?Serum IL 6 in 47 patients on gastric carcinoma and healthy people were detected by ELISA test.?RESULTS?Compared with the healthy people, concentrations of serum IL 6 in patients on gastric carcinoma went up highly.The concentration variance of preoperative and postoperative serum IL 6 in patients on gastric carcinoma have significant difference.?CONCLUSION?The determination of serum IL 6 can be a supplementary target of appraising state of illness and curative effect of patients on gastric carcinoma.
