Western Scholars' Criticism of Putting Education in the Market

Putting education in the market, which plays a critical the in improving education quality and developing education, has been one of the main educational reforms in western countries since the 1980's. However, debates on the topics such as the policy of choosing-school-freely, the development of private education, the using of the limited educational resources and the nature of education, etc. have also sprung up in this process. Aiming at the above top- ics, this article gives us an outline of the criticism by the reasonable western scholars.
