Abstract
Young leaves of Ginkgo biloba.L as explants cultured on MS medium containing different types and concentrations of hormones were for callus induction,and the effect of light on the growth of callus and content of flavonoids were also considered;After the callus proliferation,content of flavonoids in the calli was determinated by spectrophotometer in order to screen the best medium for the growth of callus with the highest flavonoid content.The results showed that in the light conditions,callus induced on MS medium contained 6-BA 1.0 mg/L and NAA 2.0 mg/L can grow best and have a higher level of flavonoids.
