How to improve the level of consumption of rural residents is of great strategic significance in enhancing the overall level of China's economic development. This paper uses the method of multiple linear regression, analyses data from 1992 to 2011,and conducts empirical research on the consumption level of rural residents. The results shows that there is a positive correlation between per capita net income and consumption level of rural residents in rural areas;changes in rural market price and consumption level of rural residents are not correlated;and rural income distribution gap and the consumption level of rural residents are significantly negatively correlated.
