Three Approaches of Rebuilding the Public Agricultural Technology Extension System

Agricultural development is heavily dependent on technology and a system of their extension.But China′s public agricultural technology extension system faces great challenges in terms of institutional organization,network and human resources.The sound development of the public agricultural technology extension system determines the future of the agricultural modernization.The high and pressing demand of farmers of advanced agricultural science and technology paves the demand ground of a good public agricultural technology extension system in China.This system should include three subsystems: government-led system,market operation system,and the system of agricultural academic and research institutions.
