Abstract

Acording to the transportation and regional economic development theories,based on the data of Henan Pronvinc's transport industry and economic development,this paper analysis the relation between traffic transportation industry and economic development in Henan Province.Empirical analysis shows that: there are strong correlation between transport industry and regional economy;the economic growth will improve the rapid development of the traffic industry;the cointegration test shows us the contribution of different transport modes to the economiy.
