Abstract

Studying the factors that affect electromagnetic environment of transmission line and protective measures can provide technical basis for the design of the transmission line, guide to recognize the electromagnetic environment of transmission lines correctly and select the rational protection measures.First, this article builds up the physical model of overhead transmission lines and calculates the electric field. Then the actual electric field strength of 500 kV transmission line in Jiaozuo city is measured, using PMM8053B electromagnetic analyzer and EHP-50C power frequency electromagnetic field probe. Finally the correctness of the theory and model by the MATLAB simulation software is verified. On this basis, simulated experiments on factors that impact the electric field of high voltage transmission lines are performed, and the design methods and improving measures that can reduce the electric field strength of high voltage power lines in several operation states are concluded.
