Abstract
Thc relationship between hybrid yield, specific combining ability, heterosis, line yield and thc genetic difference of lines were analysis , based on characters study in 14 maize lines and 91 singlc cross-es. The results are as follows: when the analysis results of line genetic difference and line genealogy rela-tionship are analogous, there are positive correlation between hybrid yield, specific combining ability, yicld heterosis and line genetic difference. And generally, heterosis of hybrid was not influenced by choice of line yield.
