Abstract

Attribute reduction is one of the major contents of rough set research. The paper first points out the mistake by Cai Li through counter-examples about her decision-making reduction algorithm based on dependence. Then the paper offers a new reduction algorithm. Finally,an information system example is used to prove its feasibility and effectiveness.
