Abstract
In recent years,the reform of college English teaching has been put forward.College English teaching research focuses on exploring new teaching models,optimizing teaching process and cultivating autonomous learning ability of non-English majors.Since the fall of 2002,a new teaching method — teaching college English on different levels has been carried out in China University of Geosciences.This essay aims to test the feasibility of this new model in order to propose a good teaching method for other colleges and universities.
