Abstract

Aim:To study the clinical therapeutic efficacy of Loratadine in combination with Binghuangfule Cream in the treatment of subacute and chronic hand eczema. Methods: One hundred patients diagnosed and classified with subacute and chronic hand eczema were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group received oral Loratadine in combination with Binghuangfule Cream while control group received oral Loratadine only. Results: in the forth week, the cure rate in treatment group was 36.0%,effective rate was 90.0% while the cure rate in control group is 18.0% and effective rate was 68.0%.The difference in cure rate and effective rate between the two groups were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion:Loratadine in combination with Binghuangfule Cream is effective in the treatment of subacute and chronic hand eczema, its clinical efficacy is significantly better than oral Loratadine alone, with a lower rate of adverse events.
