Evaluation and Comparative Analysis of Agricultural Modernization Ability in Central China

Comprehensive ability of the regional agricultural modernization is an important indicator measuring the development of the agricultural economy in the different regions. Building the index system of comprehensive capacity of agricultural mod- ernization is based on the connotation of agricultural modernization and theory of sustainable development of agriculture. Factor analysis and cluster analysis were used to select six provinces of central China as the object of empirical analysis by means of the SPSS17.0 statistical software. Appropriate countermeasures were proposed.
