Abstract
Over the past years, most studies of Shi Zhe cun's novels focus their attention on his psychoanalytic writing method and the innovation of a new novel form, but neglect the sense of realistic value hidden therein. Some people even go so far as saying that his novels have no sense of realistic value. However, it is beneficial to understand further the sense of realistic value embodied in his novels, to discuss the instinctive life consciousness in his works, to analyse the affirmation expressed in his writtings and his call for a natural form of life and humanity, to analyse his criticism of the oppressed and twisted humanity, to discuss his solicitude for humanistic spirit
