Abstract

The studies were carried out to evaluate the effect of potassium fertilizer on yield and quality of spring wheat by using potassium gradient method in high and low soil fertility respectively. The results showed that under the high fertility conditions, the yield-increasing effect of potassium was smaller;but under the low-fertility conditions, potassium had significant effect on wheat yield, the yield increased by 2.1% to 9.1%,the average was 5.4%,the optical amount of potassium was 75 kg/hm2,the yield increased by 9.1% compared with CK,per kg K2O increased 8.2 kg spring wheat yield, equivalent to economic efficiency was 930 yuan/hm2;Under the low fertility conditions, the appropriate amount of the potassium could increase the leaf area index(LAI),SPAD level, the dry matter accumulation and grain, the glume and spike-stalk and the stem and leaf sheath of spring wheat, also improve the grain of protein content, wet gluten, sedimentation of quality traits.Under low-and medium conditions, the optimum rate of potassium for spring wheat was K2O 45-75 kg/hm2,it was beneficial to simultaneously increase yield and quality of spring wheat, and achieve high-quality,high yield, high efficiency.
