Abstract
Objective:To analyze the complications of radical hysterectomy plus pelvic lymphadenectomy in cervical cancer patients and the methods of decreasing complication. Methods:From 2000 to 2005,39 early stage cervical cancer patients were treated by radical hysterectomy plus [KG(9]pelvic lymphadenectomy. The stages were:4 stageⅠA[KG)](10.25%);23 stageⅠB(58.97%),12 stageⅡA(30.76%).Results:A total of 9 patients(23.07%) developed postoperative complications. The major complications included:bladder dysfunction(15.38%);formation of lymphocysts(12.82%);wound infection(5.12%).Conclusion:The complications of radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy could be avoided through being familiar with pelvic anatomy, better surgical skill, reasonable post operative antibiotics and properly reducing the extent of surgery.
