Abstract
The effects of SiC concentration in electrolyte, cathodic current density,pH value and stirring rate on SiC content in Ni-SiC nano-composite coating were investigated by orthogonal tests, and it was found that SiC concentration in electrolyte had the largest impact on the SiC content in Ni-SiC nano-composite coating. The optimized process parameters were obtained the orthogonal tests. Surface morphology and energy spectrum of the Ni-SiC nano-composite coating prepared under the optimized parameters were also analyzed.
