Abstract

The 28-year old male patient presented with dark-red nodules on the lower left leg for four months.Microscopically, many histiocytes, lymphocytes and plasma cells were noted intradermally and subcutaneously. The major feature was the phagocytosis of intact lymphocytes and plasma cells by unique histiocytes.Immunohistochemical staining showed that these histiocytes were positive for S-100 and CD68.The Diagnosis:Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman disease.
