Abstract

Achievement goal theory divides the goals in school into learning goal and performance goal. Researches show that students who adopt learning goal are different from those who adopt performance goal in choosing task, and in their using study strategies, performing task, and in their persistence towards difficulties etc. It will influence the actual teaching and will affect ultimately the performances of students.
