Abstract
The process of grammaticalization of the verb de is very complicated.The syntactic evolvement of the verb de has gone through a lot of stages from a core verb to an inapprehensible element in the word.The semantic evolvement of the verb de has undergone a lot of stages from denoting conduct to denoting structural meaning.The phonetic evolvement of the verb de has experienced three forms,namely de,de and děi.The phonetic changes of the verb de has solidified its grammaticalization.
