Abstract
The emission control technology in the diesel engine is a primary way of minimizing particulates and NOX. With the increasingly strict regulations on emission, the post-treatment technology becomes necessary. This paper introduces the structural performances and working principles of three-way catalytic converter. Analysis is made to the influence of three-way catalytic converter on the performances, economy and exhaust emissions of the diesel engine with the results of the experiment.
