Abstract
The American National Science Education Standards are designed to define the science content standards,assessment standards,science education program standards and professional development standards.This article maintains that the American National Science Education Standards implies basic ideas as the followings:science education is for all students,the assessment should be fair for all students,science education should face the life world,inquiry is central to science learning,collaborative learning is advocated and the assessment is multiplicate.The enlightenment that we obtain from the standard is to transform the ideas of science education in our primary and middle school.
