Abstract
Microstructure of two kinds of low-carbon alloyed steels after quenching, isothermal quenching and normalizing was studied with colored metallography-chemico-etching method.Using the image processing system, the fraction of the bainite phase was calculated. With XRD method, the content of the residual austenite was examined. At last, the martensite phase content was obtained. The results show that it is feasible to analyze the multiple phases quantitatively of the bainite steel using the colored metallographic technology.
