Abstract

Objective To study the diallyl disulfide and diallyl trisulfide content in Allium sativum L. from different places. Method C18 column, mobile phase was methanol-0.17% Formic acid (80∶20). The detection wavelength was at 240 nm and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Result The linearity was obtained at the range of 0.368~7.36 μg (r=0.9999) for diallyl disulfide, 0.2288~4.576 μg (r=0.9999) for diallyl trisulfide. Conclusion The contents of diallyl disulfide and diallyl trisulfide in Allium sativum L. from different places are very different. We should have a choice in use.
