Abstract
The effect of Cu2+ concentration on the germination characteristic of cucumber seed had been studied.The results showed that Cu2+ of lower concentration(25 mg/L) could promote the seed germination of cucumber,and the germination rate,germination index,vigor index,length of root,length of hypocotyls,diameter of hypocotyls,water content of seedlings and cell membrane stability were higher than those of control and other Cu2+ concentration.But the seed germination was restrained obviously using 50~300 mg/L Cu2+ concentration.
