Abstract
[Aims] A high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) method was developed for the determination of pencycuron in rice plant,rice hull and rice.[Methods] Samples were extracted with acetonitril,cleaned up by Florisil column in the rice and by Florisil and activated charcoal mixed column in the rice plant and rice hull;and determined by HPLC equipped with UV detector.[Results] The detectable limit of pencycuron was estimated to be 2 ng,and the minimum determination concentration was 0.01 mg/L in the rice plant and rice hull,0.005 mg/L in rice respectively.The fortified recoveries of pencycuron in rice,rice plant and rice hull were in range of 77.7-114.3%.[Conclusions] The method was satisfied with the demands of pesticide residue analysis.
