The Application of Parameterization in Computer Aided Electric Machinery Design

Abstract

The concept of parameterized drawing and its corresponding CAD drawing were introduced.Based on AutoCAD VBA technique,AutoCAD 2006's customization and automation functionality was used to invent a user-friendly program that supported parameterized drawing for electric stators and rotor laminations.The application of parameterized drawing in electric machine drawings was illustrated.The key programming issues and their solutions were discussed.
