Implementation of Touch Screen Driver Based on S3C2440

Abstract

The touch screen panel is popularly used for input instrument in the area of consumption electron and industry control.The popular embedded processor S3C2440 is a SoC chip and it provides touch screen panel controller,then it is easy to develop hardware and software.This paper introduces the microprocessor S3C2440 briefly,at the time analyzes the hardware structure and working mechanism of touch screen and then gives the structure of driver program and the modification of register when touch screen's driver program based on S3C2440 implements.The touch screen driver works good at the embedded development platform of S3C2440 for WinCE.
