The application of city image research theory in new city proper planning

Abstract

According to the researching achievement of landscape image of three cities as Boston,New Jersey and Los Angles,this paper summarizes five landscape elements of urban landscape image,i.e.road,boundary,region,node and landmark,and illustrates the application of urban landscape image in new city proper planning,in order to offer some guidance for city planning in our country.
