Abstract

Quinolinylazo)-1,5-Dihydroxidebenzen(QADHB)was synthesized, and its color roaction with cobalt(Ⅱ) was studied. In the medium of CTMAB and presence of PH=4.4 buffer solution.QADHN can react with cobalt(Ⅱ) to form a stable 2;1 complex. The molar absorptivity is at 580nm. Beer's law is obeyed in range of 0~15ug/25ml.This method can be applied to the determination of cobalt in Bitamin B12 injection with satisfacory results.
