Comparative Study of the Clinical Effect on Allergic Rhinitis by Acupuncture “Rhinitis Ten-acupoints Needle”

Objective:To study the clinical effect on allergic by acupuncture rhinitis ten-acupoints needleand compare with only point selection and only acupuncture distal end points.Methods:105 patients with allergic were randomly divided into three groups:a treatment group( Rhinitis ten-acupoints needle),a control group1( point selection),a control group2( distal end points),with 35 cases in each group.Patients in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture Rhinitis ten-acupoints needle,while patients in the control group1 were treated with acupuncture Yintang,Yingxiang( bilaterally points),Xiaguan( bilaterally points);patients in the control group2 were treated with acupuncture Baihui,Hegu( bilaterally points),Zusanli( bilaterally points).Estimate the curative effect after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 88.6%;control group1 was 80%;the control group2 was 51.4%.The total effective rates of three groups showed a significant difference,P 0.05 or P 0.01.The total effective rate was higher in the treatment group than that in the control group1 and control group2.Conclusion:The clinically curative effect shows that treating allergic by acupuncture Rhinitis ten-acupoints needlecan obtain a better effect,and the therapy is economical,safe and suitable for popularization and application in clinic.
