Abstract

Objective To explore the relationship and associated risk factors of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) and metabolic syndrome. Methods In our hospital 764 teachers' medical examination results reviewed retrospectively, and its related data were analyzed. Results The incidence of NAFLD was 27.23%.Hypertension,type 2 diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obesity incidence, metabolic syndrome was significantly higher in NAFLD group than those in the control group.Systolic diastolic blood pressure, body mass index, triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, fasting blood glucose was higher in NAFLD group than those in the control group, but high density lipoprotein cholesterol was lower(P 0.05).Conclusion The high incidence of NAFLD,is closely related with metabolic syndrome.Hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, obesity is inducement for NAFLD.
