Abstract
Laser capture microdissection (LCM) is designed to isolate homogeneous populations of cells from histologic sections of complex tissues under direct microscopic visualization. LCM-based molecular analysis can be applied to the next revolution in the study of gene diagnosis, gene expression and proteomic analysis. The article reviews the application and the key protocols of LCM in neuroscience.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
