Geographical Distribution and Tourism Exploitation of Karst Cave Resources in Jiangxi Province

Karst caves are a kind of unique natural landscape resources.The development of karst cave resources plays an important role in promoting local tourism and economic development.This paper summarizes the distribution and basic features of karst caves in Jiangxi Province and discusses the pattern and strategies of exploiting karst cave resources.The research shows that there are thirty-one caves with tourism value in Jiangxi Province,which are widely distributed but mainly distributed in the western and northeast hilly areas.The exploitation patterns of karst cave tourism in Jiangxi Province can be classified into four types,i.e.,independent,assembled,dependent and reverse.Investigation of the resources,demonstration of the exploitation,adoption of theme-based development,planning of travel itineraries,popularity of the karst cave tourism and cultivation of talent teams are strategies for the exploitation.
