Abstract
Dursban plus fipronil 48% EC provided excellent control efficacy of rice planthopper and leaf roller in field plot and demonstration trials. When applied at 900 mL/hm2 in field plot trials, it provided 85.2% and 85.7% control efficacy against rice planthopper at 5 and 10 d after application, respectively; while against rice leaf roller, the leaf protection efficacy was 94.1% and 82.6%, and the control efficacy was 97.3% and 84.6% at 8 and 15 d after treatment, respectively. While used the same dosage in field demonstration trials, it provided 78.4% control efficacy against rice planthopper and the leaf protection and control efficacy against rice leaf roller were both above 80% at 10 d after treatment.
