Abstract

In the process of apoptosis, mitochondria are the apoptosis regulation center, and cytochrome C(Cyt-C) plays a key role in the release from mitochondria.Cytochrome C can activate caspase when cytochrome C is released into the cytoplasm, leading to apoptosis. The Bcl-2 protein family can regulates cytochrome C release.Apoptosis inducing factor AIF ensures the apoptosis in an orderly manner.Endoplasmic reticulum can improve the mitochondrial pro-apoptotic factor sensitivity through stress, recruitment, activation, therefore plays an important role in the release of cytochrome C from mitochondrial IMS.
