Research on Chronic Renal Failure and Malnutrition Treated with Jianpi Yishen Decoction(Method)

Jianpi Yishen Decoction is used to treat chronic renal failure and malnutrition by our department.It has the efficacy of invigorate the spleen and tonifying kidney,smooth the FU-organ and remove the turbid pathogen.Through the clinical and experimental research which made by our department we found that 24h-urine protein excretion,serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN) were significantly decreased after treatment with Jianpiyishen Decoction combined with Losartan while albumin(Alb) and hemoglobin significantly increased(P0.05).In clinical it can relieve the clinical symptoms of CRF patients with the syndrome of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency,improve their kidney function and nutrition situation,increase their weight,thus improve their life quantity and prolong their survivals.In addition,Jianpi Yishen Decoction can decrease the serum level of leptin and increase the expression of ob mRNA.
