Abstract

The paper analyzed the influential factors of climb gradient calculation for the second segment in airplane takeoff and established a dynamic equation of the airplane.According to force analysis during climb of airplane,this article utilized raw data in performance engineers manual to calculate climb gradient of the second segment and compared the result with that provided by Boeing Company.The result shows that this method is precise and reliable.
