Abstract

The contents of available microelements in 26 soil samples of 7 soil profiles collected from citrus orchards with red soil in Guangxi were determined. The results showed that available microelements B,Zn,and Mo in soil profiles of citrus orchards with red soil were considerably deficient, while available nutrient Cu in a portion of red soil was in excess level status because of applying Cu fungicides in the orchards for a long period. The results also indicated that the contents of available B and Cu decreased with the depth of soil profiles, while the distribution of available Zn,Mn,and Mo did not have an obvious trend. It suggested that more B,Zn,Mo fertilizer, and less Cu content fungicide should be applied in citrus orchards.
