Abstract
The gasification characteristics of Shenhua coal,sewage sludge and coal-sludge slurries(CSS) were investigated in this study.The results showed that the basic properties and gasification characteristics of Shenhua coal and sewage sludge were different.It showed an obvious difference on total weight loss rate,mass loss rates and gasification initial temperature.Compared to the Shenhua coal,the gases after reaction of sludge contained a small amount of hydrocarbon,and the carbon monoxide level was lower.B as alkali index and Rs as gasification reaction index of CSS were analyzed to find out that the alkali index B of sewage sludge was above 1,sewage sludge could benefit CSS gasification.
