Research progress in endocrine therapy for breast cancer

Abstract
Endocrine therapy is one of the important methods for the treatment of receptor-positive breast cancer,though some receptor-positive patients fail to respond to it,and still others develop acquired endocrine resistance after an initial response.This article outlines the progress in the researches on endocrine therapy response-related factors,application of aromatase inhibitors,mechanisms of endocrine therapy resistance,and strategies to overcome endocrine resistance.
