Abstract
Studies on canopy photosynthesis and relationships between canopy photosynthetic traits and grain yield are important for us to use reasonable measure to increase yield.Photosynthetic traits and influence factors on them, and relationship between photosynthetic rate and grain yield of maize research in recent years are expounded. The causes of increasing yield and photosynthesis traits in canopies of erectophile-type maize are discussed. Two quantitative parameters, leaf inclination angle and leaf orientation value, and sink-source relationships during reproductive development in maize are discussed in order to afford maize breeders useful reference and identify avenues for yield improvement.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
