Application of Therapeutic Platelet Apheresis and It’s Effect on Platelet Function

Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical application of therapeutic platelet apheresis in the high platelet patients and to observe it’s impact on platelet function.Method Collecting platelet from high platelet patients through Blood Cell Separator and detecting the circulating platelet adherence,aggregation and GMP-140.Result No signifi-cant difference was observed through comparing the platelet adherence,aggregation and GMP-140 before and after collecting the platelet from patients.Conclusion Therapeutic platelet apheresis can be an effective therapy in reduc-ing platelet from high platelet patients without activation of platelet.
