Abstract
The tone system of Yuan Yun Pu compiled by QIAO Zhong-he in the end of Ming Dynasty,consists of Yin-Even tone,YangEven tone,Rising tone,Departing tone and Entering tone.The division of even tone into Yin and Yang and the existence of entering tone(Ru Sheng) reflect its faithful description of tones at that time.Moreover,the division of even tone into Yin and Yang can also be seen as the innovative perspective of the phonology study in the rhyme dictionaries of Non-Qu Yun.
