Establishment and simulation for the diagnostic model of typhoon wind field on the sea surface

Abstract

In this paper,according to the physical background,the existing models of sea surface wind field of typhoon are summarized and classified.On this basis,a new diagnostic model for typhoon wind field is established.First,the sea surface air pressure field of typhoon is expressed based on the fitted equation of a representative closed isobar of typhoon,and then the wind field of typhoon system is calculated with an improved air pressure model and modified gradient wind equation.While also it is using the tropical cyclone synthetic wind assumption of Miyazaki to establish a moving typhoon wind field.Then the model of typhoon wind field is composed according to the proportion of the both.The model takes a variety of factors into account including asymmetrical air pressure field of typhoon,the boundary layer friction action,the pressure gradient tangent diversification and the movement of typhoon.Through the simulation on No.0519,the Longwang Typhoon,it shows that this model could simulate a non-circular symmetrical sea surface air pressure field and wind field during the typhoon happens and more realistically reflect the real typhoon wind field compared with previous studies.
