Abstract
The nasal initials of syllables in dozens of Jin Dialect areas share the element of plosives produced at the same position. And that is in agreement with the characteristics of the phonetic aspect of the Northwest China. This paper,based on the relevant literature and the research findings done by the contemporary masters in the field,dose textual research on the inheritance and evolvement of the nasal initials of syllables of Jin Dialect from the Tang and the Five Dynasties to today.
