Abstract
Spatial database is the core of GIS(Geographic Information System),while spatial data query is the key of the spatial database,its performance determines the efficiency of the whole spatial database.Query efficiency is always the bottleneck of GIS,so the studies of query and optimize of spatial data have become significant.To improve the capability of spatial data query,this paper discusses on spatial index,algorithm for query processing and spatial data accessing technology.
