Abstract

Objective To investigate the outcome of partial liver resection combined cyst fenestration in the treatment of severe polycystic liver disease.Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical,imaging data and operative outcome.Results Two patients underwent liver resection and fenestration,both had immediate and sustained relief of symptoms.Conclusion Partial hepatectomy combined cyst fenestration is the best optional surgical therapy for severe adult polycystic liver disease,it is safe and have gained better long-term curative effect.
