Study on habitants demand characteristics of urban forest recreation in Changsha city

Based on a survey for habitants demand characteristics of urban forest recreation in Changsha city.We find that there is strong demand for urban habitants on forest recreation.The forest area located on urban,especially on the city central area with nice ecology and environment is preferred by local people as a recreational place within various tourist sites.The recreationists hope to acquire the experiences of getting close to nature and the leisure activity to release pressure in urban forest.The local people hope to develop recreational urban forest appropriately within environment protection,offering better recreational activity and service facility.The result will provide theoretical evidence for reasonable urban forest construction planning and effective forest recreation services.
